Is It The Right Time To Buy?
You may have heard it’s a bad time to buy since the market has changed IN The last FEW years. There are many factors that go into buying that go SO much further than interest rates and listing prices.
There are a few important questions:
1. Are you ready to plant roots for 2+ years?
2. Is monthly rent cheaper for the SAME type of property?
3. Does your current home meet your needs?
4. Would property appreciation be important to you?
5. Do you have too many pets for most rentals?
6. Are you being required to move?
7. Can you predictably afford the mortgage?
When lifestyle changes and finances align, you can’t treat your residential home like stock. When you find yourself feeling discouraged that the market isn’t ideal or it isn’t the right time to buy, remember to ask yourself these questions and remember the rewards that will come by owning the most beneficial asset: property, and the many improvements on quality of life that come with having a home of your own.
